Vaccine Information

Keeping your child up-to-date with vaccinations is essential for protecting their health and well-being. Below are quick links to CDC-recommended immunization schedules and Vaccine Information Statements. For specific questions, please reach out to our office.

Common Vaccine Questions

Are vaccines required for school?

Yes. Most schools and childcare facilities require up-to-date vaccinations to protect all children. Requirements vary by state. Our office can help you understand Florida’s school immunization requirements.

What if my child is sick on vaccine day?

Mild illnesses such as a cold or low-grade fever usually do not prevent vaccination. If your child has a moderate or severe illness, vaccines may be delayed until they are feeling better. Our providers will guide you.

Can vaccines be delayed or spaced out?

Vaccines are scheduled based on extensive research to provide protection at the safest and most effective times. Delaying vaccines can leave children vulnerable to preventable diseases. We are happy to discuss concerns and answer questions with families.
